Katerina Chupikova, MA

Family psychologist

I specialize in helping families with children, adolescents and young adults who are looking for a way to solve life situations together or separately. Every family and every individual is unique and has their own story, perception and experience. In my previous practice, I have verified how important support and understanding are and how significant the environment is.

In my counselling, I offer attention, openness
and such an atmosphere,
so the client, regardless
of her/his age and worries, could
confide and open up with trust.

In addition to my education in single-discipline psychology at Masaryk University, I also bring to my psychological counseling the knowledge gained during further education in Czech and foreign accredited courses. I naturally incorporate into my counseling my experience gained in the Czech Republic while working at the Family Counseling Center and in England, where I worked in the field of psychological cooperation between schools and families of children with special needs.

Society and technology are developing rapidly, family and interpersonal relationships are changing, and the needs of children and adolescents are often difficult for parents - and vice versa - to grasp.
That is why I am continuing my education in the field of psychology to be a strong support for parents, children, adolescents, and young adults in every life situation in today's world.

“I try to be as human and approachable as possible at work. I often hear from clients that they can talk to me openly and without fear of being judged.”
